Building a practice that combines my love for the courtroom and desire to assist clients through tough times has always been important to me.  Focusing my practice on divorce, family law and criminal defense has allowed me to accomplish that goal, which remains a top priority today.

I have been an attorney in New Hampshire since 1999 when I returned home after attending law school in Los Angeles.  The first 13 years of my legal career were at the New Hampshire Public Defender where my clients were charged with misdemeanor, felony and juvenile offenses.  The experience gained by trying numerous bench and jury trials was invaluable to my gaining knowledge, skill and proficiency in the courtroom.  However, working with the individuals charged with those offenses and building attorney-client relationships that foster honest and effective representation was even more rewarding.

At NHPD, I was a also managing attorney and supervised and mentored up to 14 attorneys and investigators while assigning cases and coordinating with the NHPD offices, the Superior and District Courts.  My familiarity with the courts, court personnel, and judges stemming from these positions continue to be beneficial to my clients.

After leaving the public defender, I practiced at Orr & Reno specializing in divorce and family law, to include parenting issues, termination of parental rights, abuse and neglect petitions and domestic violence restraining orders.  While I believe my strong litigation skills are critical to my representation of family law clients, I also believe in alternative dispute resolution and its importance, especially in family law.  However, in order to settle a case, an attorney needs to know how to try one.

I live outside of Concord with my husband and our two children, Izzy and Aiden.  While their school and sport schedules keep them busy, we do find time to ski and hike together as a family.  We also love the Red Sox and Patriots and root for them whenever possible.
